From the Meta region of Colombia, this Cup of Excellence 2007 winning coffee was grown by Jorge Rincon on his farm "Llano Grande". 70% Catura and 30% Typica variety beans processed by traditional wet milling. Jorge makes a conscious effort to preserve the native forest on his farm and protect the natural sources of fresh water. He uses all the organic wastes from the depulping process to produce fertilizer for his crops.

Superb cup, with an international jury score of 91.09! Jury members found this cup to exhibit a creamy body with floral and chocolate hints. Caramelly and naturally sweet with additional hints of vanilla, strawberry and melon. Great acidity and a winning finish.
